Naples, Dec. 26 (LaPresse) – The Carabinieri of the Tenenza di Medicina (Bologna) have enforced an order issued by the investigating judge of the Bologna Court, mandating the removal of a 50-year-old man from the family home and prohibiting him from approaching his daughter. The order includes the application of an electronic monitoring bracelet. The man is under investigation for mistreatment of family members or cohabitants.
According to investigations coordinated by the Bologna Prosecutor's Office, the man abused his adult daughter through physical assaults, including kicking, slapping, choking, death threats, and psychological abuse aimed at belittling her over her physical appearance and body weight.
The case came to light recently when the young woman fled her home to escape her father, who was chasing her with a baseball bat. She sought help from the Carabinieri, who located the man and subjected him to precautionary measures.
